Excellence Scholarships for African Students Studying in English Canada, 2022/2023

The Excellence Scholarships for African Students are available for International Students in the field of English (Undergraduate level) at the University of Ottawa, Canada. 

The University of Ottawa will contribute financially to their studies by providing a tuition reduction of between $17,500 and $25,000, according to the program. 

Eligibility requirements: 

In order to be considered for this scholarship, every qualified applicant will be automatically awarded the scholarship upon registration. It will be directly applicable to their tuition fees. This award is not cumulative with the Entrance Scholarship for African students studying English. 

Application process:   

To be considered for the award, applicants are required to be admitted to the University of Ottawa’s undergraduate program. Once registered, all requests should be made online.

  • Transcripts with the applicants’ applications. 

Admission Requirements: 

Candidates are required to possess a high school diploma and have an outstanding academic performance. 

Conditions of Language: 

In the case where the student’s education was not pursued in the English language, the student will be required to prove an appropriate English language proficiency level.
